The way I understand it..."there is NO preexisiting condition"...and what
means here is that for 6 months - 1 year (depending on which company) they
would not cover anything having to do with anything having to do with the
non existant pre-exisisting condition. And then after that time period is up
he would be covered. Our typesetter has AIDS and he was not covered for 6
months when he came back to work after leaving for a while...and when we
switched insurance the new one had to take Stan too or none of us.

Yes Michelle...but worrying IS my life...just ask Fawna...she'll tell ya :o)
I not only worry about the here and now, I worry about things that might
happen waaaaaaay down the road...in addition to things that will probably
never happen :o)

I have to ask more questions about that...but my understanding is that it
would cover what he gets now. And quite honsestly he's the one who uses it
the least...but you can bet if he didn't have it he'd be the one who'd get
hurt or ill and need it. About the only thing he uses it for are his yearly
physicals and necessary shots.

That's who I'm going to have to ask about the FL Healthy kids...it's offered
to all school kids.
