The Dr. said it was uncommon, but normal. Mary had a really thick cord,
her Dr described it as "juicy.". The stub finally fell off today...after
they used silver nitrate on it Friday. I'm sooo glad that its finally off!
I've never had a cord hang on longer than a week or two. The redness was
from her clothes rubbing against it, not an infection.
