Nothing remotely close to that here! In fact, there are still sun products
on the market to help INCREASE tanning with no UV protection offered.

Heck, most of the time I forget sunscreen.........in the late 1970's and
early '80's I WORKED on my tan.
Of course, we only have 3 months or so here in Michigan where your body
is/can be fully exposed because the other 9 months are colder. lol

Here in our area hats aren't ALLOWED to be worn at school or the child will
be suspended (the gang related hat issues and how they distract teachers).
Sunglasses aren't allowed at school either (inside or out) for the same
reasons.

Alex did the sun/sneezing thing as an infant with his blue eyes---didn't
happen as much when he was wearing a hat. I remember when I finally found
children's sunglasses with UV protection........think it was 1989 or
so.......and paying a fortune for them (my Mom was appalled). Up to that
point children's sunglasses were all the cheap/play kind with the flimsy
lenses and warped, rubbery frames.

Alex wore hats and sunglasses happily/diligently as an infant/toddler---so
glad he didn't fight me.
