Dear All,
Your prayers are definitely helping. Philina has
remained the better part of stabile the last couple
of days. Her blood pressure has gone a little too
high a couple of times, but at least she's had one,
and she's breathing. A planned 15 minute IV move
from her foot to her hand became a 2 hour ordeal with
3 missed veins on the right, before they gave up and
moved on to the left hand. They've also begun feeding
her through the ng tube in addition to her IV's.
My sister is here and stayed on a couple of extra days.
She's hitting the road tomorrow.
Lara is doing well with all this, though we're still
avoiding using the term "code blue" in her presence.
My prayers for all of you my friend's & family are for
a wonderful, peaceful day spent with your loved ones.
Gary, hoping that Jacob's palate surgery the same day as
Philina's went well.
May Aussy Alex stop scaring his Mum so much, get out of
hospital and get his "lamb" & apple sauce Christmas dinner
(can't really believe that boy wants it on a plate though
this year...LOL).
May USA Alex's gunk stay out of his lung.....
April you can vent to me anytime you want, about anything you
want. I'll be praying for Marissa's heart surgery next month.
Is that being done at the Cleveland Clinic? Who's her doctor?
I hear one of Philina's favorite old cardiologists is there now.
Jude, still prescribing 30cc's Jim Beam q HS & prn for that throat.
