Subject: [tri-med] Listening Therapy

Has anyone had any experience with listening therapy? It was just
introduced=20
to Kaiya this week. They thought that she might be "singing" because
she=20
likes the auditory stimulation so this might help to quiet her. She
actually did=20
stay quiet for almost 20 minutes (a minor miracle for Kaiya) But she
quiets =20
down when I play certain types of music for her on the radio so I don't
know=20
if it was their "special music" or if I should just buy her a nice pair
of =20
headphones and an ipod... They also felt that it might help to organize
her and =20
she may pay more attention to tasks presented to her. We didn't test
that=20
aspect of it, we just let her get used to having headphones on. She's
not to=20
fond of things on her head so I was worried about that part, but she
didn't seem=20
to mind all that much. Just wondering if anyone else has used it.
