She had a really rough couple of days and her little body just could not fight anymore. As I mentioned in an earlier post, her stomach was distended - which was actually her bowel and she was in a lot of pain. They had her on a morphine drip which really helped keep her comfortable. We decided late yesterday that we were going move to comfort care and to bring her home to be with us. But God had other plans... he took her VERY PEACEFULLY in her sleep... She just slowly stopped breathing.. I could not have asked for anything more.. It happened very quickly too. We know she is in heaven and watching over us and giving us the strength to make it through this... Our priest said something that touched me when she was born - When she passes you will be able to pray TO her instead of FOR her.
