Don't know about the special privileges, but we are definitely getting
to be known by name! Helps to have a long difficult one--everyone
recognizes it! We've also been on the same wing and floor both times,
which helps, and most of our doctor appointments are at the hospital
(it really is great to have a centralized location!). Neat thing this
time was that one of the new nurses on the floor is actually a girl I
taught in high school, and her mom is a good friend of mine. She came
right in to visit as soon as she saw we were there--how cool is that!
