Our daughter, Ivy, age 6, has PT10q. She has been taking Zantac for as
many years. She had reflux and many aspirations and consequent
pneumonias, so any help was a god send. She always took it with reglan
or cisapride (before they took it off the market.) In June of 2001 she
had a g tube placed with a fundoplication due to general failure to
thrive. I think at the time she was about 25 pounds. She still takes
Zantac now, even after the fundo, because we have had different periods
of old blood (coffee ground-looking) residue in her tummy. As long as
she takes the Zantac, no problem. Her liver has seen its share of
testing lately, and no tumors are present. Like everything else, you
have to way the pros and cons.

On a lighter note, I have to tell you how excited I was to stumble upon
a fellow OS X user. Nice G3 your cat chooses to lay on. Obviously, a
very wise cat! LOL.
