[tri-med] Re: Just found out we're pregnant (happy&worried)

Hi Michelle,
The reason why we didn't do it before is because of insurance coverage, it was 
so much easier to do it at UCLA than it was at Miller's where she usually goes. 
We were told by her geneticist that at 11 weeks we can do CVS, I was told they 
would go through the vagina and it would hurt like a pap smear. Has anyone had 
it done before that can share their experience with me? It would help, my 
husband and I are still undecided because we were told that there is a smaller 
higher risk of miscarriage than the amnio. Any Advise?

Out of curiosity, why didn't they order the testing on you and your hubby 
before now? Typically that's something done right after the child's 
diagnosis if there is a question. Esp before subsequent pregnancies?
