LOL - Alex will also be dysphagic and dyspraxic to some degree as well - but 
that doesn't mean he can't be safe with his eating as well. We know that 
there is no cure - we HAVE accepted that our kids are different (despite 
what they may think - we can accept this and not go around crying all day 
everyday), But that doesn't mean that they can't learn, develop and improve 
in what they do. They do all day every day - it just takes a little bit 
longer.........

I would like to see some of these very bright and intelligent doctors (not 
being sarcastic here - they are intelligent people) face the same sort of 
challenges that our kids do. I doubt many would have the strength of 
character to do half as well.

Even surviving in utero for a few weeks makes them very special and tough 
little guys to me........
