I wish that in some way I could measure how delayed Brendan is, but with
his lack of sight, speech, hearing and minimal motor skills it is very hard.
But lately he has found great pleasure in rolling from side to side and
pushing with his feet so he kind of scoots on the floor or in his bed. His
mattress is on an angle, because of the reflux, he has bolster on either side
and under his butt to keep him in place. Every morning for the past week I
have found him turned around at the bottom of the bed, just lying there
smiling seeming to say "look what I can do, mom" I am loving it.
