Killer isn't it? Just a few months ago Jim had to up our deductable and lose
some benefits because we simply couldn't pay the 33% increase on the
premiums. I've talked about getting a full time job (only way around here to
get benefits) just for the insurance. But it would be such a stress on the
family for me to do so........esp Alex. So here we are.

The times I've done that it's been invaluable.
We had a "pre-IEP" meeting with Alex's 5th grade spec ed and reg ed teachers
before he went into middle school. Bless their hearts, they gave up 2 hrs of
their own time to run what middle school offered, how it worked, what our
options were and we all discussed Alex and what would be best. The next week
was the IEP and it STILL took 3 hrs! lol
