Last summer Alex did 6 hrs per week at Sylvan. It's a 30 min drive each way.
I have never come home (too cheap to pay all that extra/expensive gas!) for
an hour at home. Even on the days he did 3 hr sessions.

Yes, shopping is one thing done: Target for all those thing you need/use for
running the household, Joanne's (like Michaels), we found a park with a
boardwalk along a river, used their public library (couldn't check out
anything though 'cause we don't live there--diff county), I even reclined
the drivers seat a few times and took a nap.  :0)   You can do needlework,
checkbook/bill paying, go through you coupon holder and purge, catch up on
snail mail correspondence.....all those little, easy to transport in a
canvas bag "chores" that get put off.........

Check out and see if there are any classes offered around there you might
like to take. Maybe a massage.......hair cut.........join a gym........YMCA?
