Both whey and cassin are proteins  ( I think) anyway most formulas are
cassin formulas, but a few like carnation good start are whey formulas.
Apparently according to Bec's clinical nutrition doc studies have shown
that whey based formulas are easier to digest then cassin based
formulas, and for kids that have gastric empting issues the whey based
formulas are benefit.  Carnation good start, nurtamigin and peptamen are
whey based preparations.
