Hi everyone,
Thanks so much to all for the warm welcome and the responses to the feeding
question. It seems, from your experiences, that Prevacid actually does the
trick for the reflux problem (much more effective than Zantac at least). We
will discuss that with our peditriatian in our next appointment. We were
able to improve the gas-pressure situation by using a big open syringe
attached to her G-tube at several times during the day. That, in turn,
decreased the episodes of refluxing, so we are better there.
Right now we are trying to get Josefina to sleep (she is doing some sort of
aerobics with hand and foot work while lying in her crib and cooing
loudly...:) )
