Ouch, what a bad Mom I am. Don't know degrees, she was last measured at
least 3 years ago. What I do remember is that progression had slowed after
initial puberty rush. I think that Jo's curve is definitely worse than
Rebecca's, her kyphosis is not fixed as she can straighten up. This was a
clinic referral, and they told us it would be a 6 hour operation with
incisions front and back with at least 6 week hospitalization. All of our
doctors and we decided that Jo would never survive this and just keep her in
molded wheelchair. Hopefully things have changed for the better in the
operation, but not ready to explore the possibility at this time.
