<<Is Faren Full T18? >>

According to tests, yes. But I still haven't admitted it thoroughly. I
don't know why : )

<<Did you have a prenatal DX? >>

NOpe, sure didn't! We didn't know until she was 6 wks old. THe
neonatologist suspected something when she arrived at the NICU, but after
one failed chromosome test, they found no need to test her because she was
in such good shape. Then when other things started to appear, they tested
again, And lo and behold, TRisomy 18 it was!!

<<They have tried to
convince me that "all" t18ers show distress, they shouldn't monitor and it's
not worth a c-section --BS!!!!>>

Well, they're wrong. NOt once did Faren show any signs of distress.
ATleast not that I was told.

<< Thursday I'm going in for another nonstress
test, fluid reduction and check the lungs - guess I'm not following Doctors
orders!!>>

You Go Girl!! Hey, how far do you suspect you are from Collinsville? I am
about 10 miles east of ST. Louis on the IL side of course. Maybe one day I
can cruise on up to (I forget what town you live in) and meet you and your
family. Even Holly would probably be willing to meet us there. Actually,
how far are you from MOnmouth college? WE are going to be up there in
October for Rick's 10 yr reunion (can you believe that?)

Michelle Wilson, mother to Faren and wife to rIck
