[tri-med] JUSTIN UPDATE

Hi all,
 Well, day 10 and Justin is still at the hospital,, and they still aren't sure 
what is causing his problems. I have a few docs that aren't agreeing on his 
hydrocephalus, so they are thinking that they are going to send him to Duke 
university. They have an ND tube placed in his intestine to feed him now,,, he 
is so malnourished from not eating,,, They said that after the neurosurgeon 
gets done looking at him and deciding his care for the uncontrollable fits, 
they will then send him back to the hospital where he is at now so that his 
gastro doc can continue his care and try to find out what is going on with his 
tummy. They flew my husband home from Iraq, so thank god he is home now. Today 
is I guess you would call my break away from there, even though, that is where 
I feel still am,,, right next to him,,, but I know that he is in good hands 
with his daddy. I thank you all for your heart felt wishes and prayers. I just 
hate it that they have no clue what is going on in his little body. I have 2 
neurologists that are telling me he needs a shunt, and a neuro surgeon that 
feels he doesn't and one doc telling me that he can't do a simple scope test on 
Justin because if he does, he has to be put asleep and they don't think he 
would come off of the vent right now do to his present condition. I dunno,,, 
just please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, as I think of you all every 
day.
