[tri-med] "Intestinal Malrotation"

Hi all,

Yesterday was a very difficult and tiresome day for Sarah and us.
She underwent so many examination mainly X-ray and CT Scans.
But at least we know more, From these examinations the doctors
found out that she has "Intestinal Malrotation" and "Kidney stone"
"urine infection" and "stone in the bladder". All these causes
severe pain and continuos suffering.

Well I don't know whether to say it's good or bad news, nevertheless
it is somehow releasing. And this explains alot of problems and
suffering which Sarah has been experiencing like vomiting, pulling up the
legs and crying, irritability and crying in pain, with nothing seeming to help. 

"Malrotation is a type of mechanical obstruction caused by abnormal
development of the intestines. 
Surgery to correct bowel obstruction from malrotation is always necessary 
and is often performed as an emergency procedure to prevent irreversible,
life threatening injury to the bowel."

As for now the most urgent thing is to schedule Sarah for a operation.
Her doctor said this type of operation will be done in AMC hospital in
Amsterdam.
So we are waiting for necessary arrangement.

We would appreciate any ideas or experience related to this type surgery to
correct 
bowel obstruction from malrotation.
