Thanks,

FWIW. I got a chart from a friend on the health benefits of different foods.
Well, I've been craving limes for the past several months so I looked up
limes. it says that limes can combat cancer, protect your heart, control
blood pressure, smooth skin, stop scurvy.
The skin thing caught my eye because I was having a problem with the skin on
my face - all along the nose and sides of the nose, between the eyebrows. it
really dry and was driving me nuts. No matter what I tried I felt like my
face was flaking off! When I peeled the flakes off it was red and irritated.
A couple months ago I got a lime-berry fresh fruit slush at Sonic and for
some reason I enjoyed the limes that were in it tremendously. So much so
that I started asking for easy on the berry with extra limes slices.
Sometimes they would throw in 1-2 extra slices, sometimes I'd get lucky and
they'd throw in 4-5. (Once I asked for extra slices and there wasn't even
one slice in it. The person who made that one is counting challenged.) Then
I started to order easy on the berry with extra slices on the side. Now I
get 2-3 slices in the slush and 6-8 slices or even more in a cup on the
side. And, I'm addicted. I admit it. I try and get one as often as I can,
one a day of possible, especially now, after the dental surgery! (But I get
a Route 44 size so it lasts a long time.) Donn has put some scalp treatment
on my face twice but I've been eating limes pretty much daily (well, I WAS
eating them but after the dental work started I'm pretty much squeezing the
juice into my mouth and sucking on the limes). I've even bought some to
slice up and have at home. And I drink my water with lime juice instead of
lemon.
When I got the e-mail and looked it over I realized that my face isn't
flaking as much now, hardly at all! So I looked in a mirror and sure enough,
it's not all red and irritated looking like it was! Now. it could be the
combination of the scalp treatment and the limes so I think I'll have Donn
continue with the liquid he puts on maybe once a week or so and then I'll
keep eating limes! I can do that.
If anyone would like a copy of the chart let me know. I have it as a PDF
file.
