[tri-med] In Need of Feedback

Hello all!

Like other organizations, Noah's Never Ending Rainbow has been tossing the 
idea around about thank-you cards/note cards and holiday/special occasion 
cards...our thought was that they would be designed by Trisomy children, 
their siblings, the parent or a family member.  We as an organization are in 
need of thank-you cards/note cards and would like to expand the idea to 
holiday/special occasion cards and offer them to all as it would be an ideal 
way to honor our precious Trisomy loved ones, get families involved and be 
able to share them with others!

We are still brainstorming but depending on how many parents or families are 
perceptive to the idea, we would select 5 or so drawings for general 
thank-you/note cards and 5 or so holiday/special occasion designs.  Again, 
we would use the general thank-you/note cards internally but we would also 
sell both sets or combine them for a minimum donation as it will help 
fundraise and raise awareness of Trisomy to the general public as you would 
be sending them out to friends, family and colleagues.  My initial thoughts 
are that the front of the card would be the special design with the name of 
the artist whether it be a Trisomy child, sibling, parent or loved one with 
the diagnosis of the child and the back would have the mission statement of 
Noah's Never Ending Rainbow with a brief definition of Trisomy.

Also, I was recently at Things Remembered and each year they have a special 
edition holiday ornament with proceeds going to Make-A-Wish...for the past 
several years our family has purchased the ornament as they granted a wish 
to Noah prior to his passing and that is the least we could do to support 
their phenomenal mission.  We would love to do an annual holiday ornament 
like that which could be designed by a Trisomy child, their sibling, parent 
or family member.  It is too late to do it for this holiday season but we 
can begin accepting designs for the 2005 holidays!  We may not get them into 
a store like Things Remembered just yet but we have to start somewhere!

Thoughts???  Anyone interested in having your child, yourself or family 
member design a card???  Also, if you or someone you know is a printer and 
would offer their printing services pro bono or at a reduced rate, please
