I don't use a "soluble" tea tree oil - I use the miscible one.
The research that I read (The Australian Rural Industries Research and 
Development Corporation - an Aus Govt Research Department) showed that only 
some of the components in tea tree oil actually dissolve. Whereas with the 
miscible all the oil stays dispersed throughout the water (or whatever you 
are using as a carrier).

The other good news coming from the same group is that Tea Tree Oil shows 
signs of being quite effective in helping get rid of MRSA when combined with 
regular antibiotics.
