I would never trust my school district to do something so important. I went
outside for both Dom and Ali. Medicaid paid for Dom's at Children's Hospital
and my dh's insurance paid for 50% of Ali's with a guy who specialized in
Autism. If Medicaid hadn't covered Dom's, I would have paid for it out of
pocket. If
you go outside, you can control the information. If you do get school to pay
for it, they are entitled to all information the doc has, including trisomy
stuff. I did send info to the school district, but only because it showed
information that the school was trying to deny, like Dom's LDs and Ali's autism.
