Subject: [tri-med] Hospital Question Part 2
I am developing the prototype for trial - and so here is my question - what
are the things that our kids may want to communicate to
> staff??
EASY Karen :o) The things nearest and dearest to Devon's heart would be a
"cookie" PEC....a "drink/juice" PEC...a "Potty" PEC...and a "woobie" PEC (in
Devon's case his BEAR). Another thought would be when a child has to be
admitted ask the parent to bring with them a picture of themselves...for a
sort of "I want my mommy/daddy" PEC...or for those who don't have a personal
picture..maybe a generic "parent/mommy/daddy" PEC. For a child like
Devon...a generic PEC wouldn't work for a "parent" PEC or a general "woobie"
PEC...too abstract....but for a cookie or drink either one works for Devon
:o)
Just my suggestions :o)
