Thanks Fawna, I'm guessing that the school that any child I have will be going 
to is au fait with things like tubes and stuff.Its a special needs school(sadly 
we dont intergrate here too much but oh if I start on that one we will all miss 
christmas believe me!!)with an excellent reputation and highly recommended but 
obviously something I would need to make sure with them beforehand.

Next question is.....does the site where the tube goes in stay forever...even 
if the child eats orally after a time? Would it be closed or left just in case 
of ever being needed again?Does there come a time when a new site would be 
needed and the old one left to heal?
