Jackie,
Guess this is why I don't write in much lately. We
aren't scheduled for any tests....surgery...etc.
Life is pretty good. Philina spent last weekend at
respite camp with Nan's Allie. They had a blast.
Philina hadn't been to camp since June '01, because
of her heart surgery the following Dec, and the
problems that followed that. Nice to finally have
her back in the respite system. She went all weekend
without using her g-tube too. Amazing how good she
eats orally when the tube isn't an option.
We are in the process of trying to get her some new
hearing aids though under her damage/loss insurance.
They disappeared when we evacuated for the fire, and
just haven't been seen since.
Other than that the only real trisomy news is TRIS
Project related. We're currently getting our ducks
in a row for a grant application (start up funding
for the pilot).
