[tri-med] Re: Hello and Thank You (long)

Hello Deanna and welcome to the list, though I'm sorry you have reason to be 
here.  I'm way behind in my mail, so others have I'm sure chimed in with much 
more.  We too received a prenatal T-18 diagnosis for our daughter Anna almost 
4 years ago.  
Yes, like you, we were devastated.  Fortunately, Anna really didn't present 
any medical anomalies prenatally, other than the clenched fists and small for 
her dates.  She was born via c-section, as she was breech and I was 10 days 
overdue and showing no signs of going into labor.  She did relatively well 
for almost 3 months, other than not sucking, so we fed her by NG tube.  She 
died suddenly one Sunday afternoon, we think from heart complications.

Your family sounds wonderfully normal and I'm sure this has not been easy on 
them.  How are the kids doing?  My daughter was 16 and my son 4 when we went 
through this.

Coal Valley!!  I lived in Davenport and Bettendorf for about 10 years, from 
1982 - 1993.  I worked at Modern Woodmen for about 7 years.  Nice area!
