Hi back,
I don't have a child on a CPAP, but both my husband and I have them.
And we hate them. If we lie completely still, they stay in position
and are OK. But any time that you move, the air comes in the edges
and wakes you up. And my face gets so cold, so I try to cover it up,
but that just seems to make it worse. I have an auto adjust one that
changes the pressure as I need it. My husband just got a new mask
trying to make things better. We are still not happy, so I can
imagine that a 15 month old would find it irritating, too. Ask your
doctor or the CPAP people for help. There has to be something that
won't bother her quite as much.
We know the consequences of not using it, but because it is so
uncomfortable, we don't always.
Good luck!
