[tri-med] Re: Hannah is two today!...an update on us

Congrats to Hannah! I want you to know that she and your family is an
inspiration to me. I used you as an example when I was fighting for Logan
every day in the NICU! Keep up to wonderful job you are doing! Don't give up
and remember you made a difference in our lives! Love Tina and Logan

Just wanted to give an update on Miss Hannah as she turns two today. I can't
believe it's been two years since my little miracle was born!

Hannah is doing extremely well now. She is walking, saying more and more
words each day and follows directions very well. She sings all the time and
is an extremely outgoing little girl.

We saw the cardiologist last week for her 2 year checkup and her ASD has not
yet closed, but he told us that it is quite small and is nothing to worry
about. Apparently it is not the kind of asd that requires antibiotics when
she goes to the dentist, but I am not sure what kind it is?

We also see the geneticist, Dr. Fernhoff, next week for a follow up appt. I
do have one concern I would like to ask about and that is her right foot. It
seems to turn in significantly when she walks. I don't know if it is
something that we should see a specialist about, or that it will correct
itself as she gets older.

So that's about it for her. We are still living in Atlanta but are actively
seeking to buy a house in Maryland. My husband travels all the time and most
of his work is in Maryland, DC and Virginia so it makes sense to move there
as we never see him as it is now. We put an offer on one last week but
didn't get it - they got $40,000 more than the asking price. Crazy!!

Hannah's brother, Brennan is already six months old tomorrow and is a huge
boy! He is 21 pounds, four pounds less than his sister. He is a very sweet
baby and is nudged, poked and prodded by Hannah all day long!

That's all for now. Just wanted to let you know how much help I have gotten
over the past two years here and how much I value each of you, even if I
don't get a chance to write as much as I would like.

I will post pictures on her website when I get them developed.

Take care,

Kristin - wife to Bryan, mom to 2 year old Hannah - t13 mosaic w/
Robertsonian translocation, and Brennan Joseph - 6 months old in Atlanta,
Georgia, USA
