Janet, what wonderful, wonderful news!!! -----Original Message----- From: Janet Leigh King [mailto:jlvking@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]=20 Sent: Monday, November 24, 2003 3:32 PM To: tri-med@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [tri-med] HANNAH IS HOME!!!!! We were released from the hospital yesterday! And WITHOUT the feeding=20 tube!!! They decided that the weight issue wasn't related to the RSV so it=20 wasn't a reason to keep her and they would let her pediatrician deal with=20 it out of the hospital. Donn talked to the other pediatrician in the=20 practice on Saturday and she said to bring Hannah in on Monday or Tuesday=20 to see Dr. Fox. We will be calling them again shortly to see which is=20 better. (When Donn talked to the hospital doctor on Sunday he learned that=20 the doctor knows our pediatrician. He was 2 years behind her in med school!) Hannah seems to be doing fine. She is sounding more "normal" when feeding.=20 We have charts all over the kitchen now to show her formula recipe and keep=20 track of what she eats and how much she takes. There is no way she is going=20 to hit the 24 ounces the nutritionist "recommends" the way she is going. It's just so good to be home!!! We all slept so much better. Thank you all=20 for your thoughts and prayers.
