There are also possible negative side effects when they are GHD. And let me
tell you, it was a huge discussion on the part of Jim and myself, this list
(memories.....) and our families to a lesser degree.

Karen, is that more due to the fact that those using it are NOT medically
GHD?
I get e-mail 'ads' all the time for HGH for 'anti-aging'.

Isn't it GRAND when hindsight isn't bitting you in the butt?????

Yep, it's true! Karen was a WONDERFUL devils advocate for Jim and I at that
time. She had great ideas, comments, questions etc that really helped us to
explor all avenues and the pros and cons of each decision. It was most
certainly one we did NOT make lightly.

You know, there are times that I wonder what and if supplements, our own
'home' programs for stimulation/growth, GHT etc are 'responsbile' for the
brain developement that Alex currently enjoys.....or is it a combination of
things, luck or a gift?
There are so many things we've tried (some discarded and some still being
used) over the years......giving it a few months, starting with a 'little'
and watching to see what happens, deciding to stay with it or stop it and
what do we do next. Literally years of this.
It's really been the past 2 years (due somewhat to Alex's 'teenaged
attitudes' and developement) that I've been more like a 'normal'
parent.......not constantly exposing, exploring, helping to the Nth
degree.....a letting more things progress at their own pace. And in some
ways this 'new' approach has had some benifits of it's own. :0)
> And while you are at it - say a few prayers for me as I decide whether to
give Alex an equally dangerous drug >to decrease his growth hormone
production. I too am questioning the wisdom of playing with G*ds balance.
