>>>>>>I have always thought it was important to keep the docs at bay
about
"plumping" Sierra up. To me, the more weight she carries the hard she
is
going to have to work to move around, etc. (she is also hypotonic). We
have
found it has worked out nicely for us because we are still able to lift
her
into the car, bed, etc. She has always maintained her curve and it is
really irritating when you come acrossed a "professional" who treats you
like you are not taking care of your child! I guess I was just shocked
to
actually see the numbers on paper (Sierra has never been above the 5th%
on
the charts).<<<<<<<<<<
Rebecca has always been between the 3-5 percentile for normal growth.
Any one who has met Rebecca would tell you she is not scrawny, infract
this summer I noticed she has a couple of rolls showing in her bathing
suite! On the trisomy chart she is probably at 80% the nutrition Doc we
see does skin fold thickness testing, Rebecca is at 25 % which is were
he wants her to be, as he says if you can pinch an inch than that's ok.
Don't fight with dragons, for you are crunchy and good with Ketchup.
