[tri-med] Getting Brendan Regular

Hi all,
I kind of need some suggestion on getting and keeping Brendan regular.  He is 
very constipated sometimes and struggles very hard when he does go.  He is a 
very unhappy boy if he doesn't go once a day.  I would like to know if there 
are any herbal remedies or any others that have worked for you and your 
triers.  I have tried prunes juice in the formula but that last only a couple 
of days, he was taking culturelle but doesn't work now (dr gave it to him 
when he was on meds that may cause constipation, he is off those now).   The 
hospice nurse ordered colace suppasatories for him but he keeps pushing them 
out ( with a little poop) but I hate to put those uo his tiny butt.
I will try anything to help him through this.
