I don't have a button.  The sutures are into the tube and my skin -  
holding the tube in place, supposedly.  The black thread is wrapped  
around the tube, which they say tightens up when the tube is too far  
out of my skin.  That's why I'm supposed to keep pushing it back in.

No, the sutures where they made the pouch are not giving me any  
problem.  And I think there are staples in there, too.

They told me that I could use an ointment like a triple antibiotic.   
I used Neosporin.

This sounds like a great idea, but are the cleaning pads medicated or  
just plain?  I wouldn't want to use my astringent cleaning pads.
