[tri-med] Re: G-Tube HELP needed....

Well my daughter's G-tube was leakinf the first 6 months after it was put in
and her Ped Surgery Specialist said to put Nystatin Powder around it. Do you
put gauze around the tube? If you don't you might want to try that. You need to
change the gauze 2 times a day or if you see it getting to wet then more of
course. Does your child's site look red, they sometimes get irritated from the
stomach juices. Her doctor gave us Bacitracin and it got so much better within
1 week.

I need your help with the Nejoud's G-tube. For almost 3-months or more Nejoud's
G-Tube is still leaking. We tried everything you can think of but with no luck.
her doctor told us that our last option is surgery.
The last option is NOW.
I hate to put her through another g-tube surgery. It seems that surgery is an
extreme measure to solve what seems to be a minor problem. She does not do well
with Anesthesia. Last MRI netted her 6-days in ICU. ANy Suggestions??...Please
tell me how you solved similar problems...HELP please...
