[tri-med] Fwd: Re: multi focal myoclonic seizures

Claire has very subtle seizures. They haven't been labeled and they seem to
evolve...the first one was under a year old and her eye just
twitched...after a few of those in a row, she started turning blue
(fortunately by then we were in ER).
The most recent seizures, she just zones out... we call it 'going to her
Claire Place'...she takes tegretol/Carbamazepine - works really well, and
one thing I think she has as a side effect is a nystagmus.
Another thing is that it makes her sleepy -tho they say that is a sign she
is getting too much, but doses are only increased when she shows noticeable
seizures and her 'levels' are low.
