Mary,

We are in the process of trying to get the Tennessee Medicaid waiver for
Miss Hannah. When the rep came to the house for the in-home interview we
were told that it IS based on income, and not just Hannah's! That goes
against everything we had learned at a meeting that was to explain the
waiver program. Our TIPS rep (who was at the house when she came) was =
just
as surprised. We are still sorting out what is what. We got a letter =
from
them after the meeting saying that Hannah was now on the active list but =
it
was followed with something like PENDING VERIFICATION OF INCOME =
ELIGIBILITY.

The Waiver rep that came out has a 26-year-old daughter that has been on =
the
list for 9 years. Ain't that the government for ya?=20

We MAY get a small, once-a-year check in july according to our home =
bound
teacher. I think she said it's about $1,800.
