[tri-med] Re: Full Trisomy 17 baby Michael has passed away

Theresa, my eyes filled with tears hearing that your precious Michael had
passed away.  My heart reaches back to yours, knowing some of the pain you
must be feeling right now.  Isn't amazing how much impact our angels can
have in such a short life time?  I can only hope that I will have 1/2 of the
impact on others as Anna had.

I truly believe that God accepted Michael into Heaven just as he is, perfect
in every way!  As far as trying to understand why Michael had to leave so
soon, a quote from our scripture readings at church today comes to mind:
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the
Lord.  As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways above
your ways and my thoughts above your thoughts." (Isaiah 55: 6-9).  I cannot
understand why, I can only trust in God and God's compassion.  Easy words to
say, but I have to repeat them over and over to keep them in my heart.

May God's compassion and mercy be with you and your family at this time.

As some of you may remember I was pregnant with a Full Trisomy 17 baby. He
was born on 9-9-08 on his fathers birthday. He suffered many problems on his
short life on this earth. As some of you may remember he had a very bad
heart diagnosed prenataly. In addition he had a misplaced kidney and a dandy
walker. He also suffered a fractured clavacle, club foot, missing right
middle finger,  and his whole right side of his body was slightly shorter
then his left side.

Sadley enough Michael passed away last night at the hospital. I held him in
my arms as he passed. He passed very peacefully. Michael touched so many
peoples lives on his short time here on this earth. He had doctors baffled
and nurses crying. So many hospital staff came to see him on his last day as
the doctors had told us the time had come that he was passing. He left this
world with his whole family beside him. He is so loved by everyone who met
him.

I have attached his picture along in this email so you could all see the
most presious baby life could have given us all.

I ask that you pray GOD accepts Michael into his kingdom so he could be
whole again and live out his life in a better place.

For those of you that lost a child, my hearts go out to you as I feel your
pain which right now is so incredibaly hard and I dont understand why he had
to leave this world so soon.

The doctors told us he would die in utero so I try to look at it as 9 days
with Michael has been better then no days with Michael. He will forever live
in our hearts.

I am so sad that my baby has left this world and he never even got to see
the things we take for granited everyday like seeing the outside of a
hospital.

Please pray for my son that he goes right into heaven.
