[tri-med] Re: Feeding Advice Needed

I'm sorry, that was confusing. He will put an empty spoon in his mouth on his
own. If I put any food on the spoon and hand it to him, he'll put the other
end in his mouth. He will play in the food if I put it on his tray, but he
won't eat any of it. I just don't know what changed. He was doing find with
the spoon a few weeks ago.

My son reached a point where he wouldn't eat by spoon either, so I put
the food/mush in front of him with a spoon and he ate what he could
with what little coordination he had. It was a oddest thing I'd
experienced, but he ate much better without my help after crying when
I was feeding him... just wanted to do it himself.

If he can help feed himself, maybe he's just looking for a little
independence, he will eat by spoon?
