Hello everyone!
Happy Halloween!
Jackson has decided that he no longer wants to eat anything by spoon. He
typically takes purees, but now pushes the spoon away and cries. He will still
suck on fruit leather, but no other solids. He's allergic to wheat, milk,
oats, peanuts and soy. So, anything containing those ingredients is out.
I called his speech therapist and she told me to try to get him to suck on a
dry spoon, but that's not going well either if I hold it. He'll put it in his
mouth if he's in control.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! It's getting very frustrating
and I really would like to decrease his dependence on the bottle.v
