HI Terre, The kid kart is yes, a kart for kids. I think of it as a "baby
wheelchair", although it would fit for our kids for probably up to 5 yrs or
so. We got the kid cart to replace what would be a stroller and highchair.
It has a special seat that keeps the posture straight and the head up. there
are straps for the chest if needed. It comes with a tray to put toys and
what not on. We feel that it was a really good thing to get cause now ,
being that faren cannot sit up in a highchair, we can feed her solids like a
"big girl" in her kid kart. I hope that I was able to explain to you what
you were looking for. I definitely think that it is something you should
look into if Kristina cannot sit well in strollers or in highchairs. We
thought it would be good for Faren so that she could be in our head level
instead of in our arms or laying on the floor or couch all the time.
Basically, we think it will give her a new view of life, sitting up with the
big people. We got it in hot pink!! It's really cool! Now, it's just
getting the little stinker to accept not being held all the time!!!
