Hello, I wanted to let you all know about a great project for children that
have a chronic illness;  it's called Spinoza's "buddy bear" project.
Spinoza Bear is a 17", teddy bear with a tape player and speaker tucked in
his belly.  Spinoza comes with a library of nine cassette tapes that have
stories and songs that bring comfort and unconditional love.

We work with local community service organizations throughout the US to
provide Spinoza to children ages birth to 18 in the US, so there is no cost
to enroll your child.  While we wish we could find a sponsor for every
child referred to us we can never guarantee that a sponsor will be found
