Are the areas under his eyes reddish and/or look dark or a bit bruised? When
the eye area is affected it's called an "allergic shiner" and maybe that's
what the therapist is talking about.
Don't think it's specific to food allergies but allergies in general.
Alex has allergy induced asthma. He's had the allergy testing done. The only
food allergy that they tested for that was positive were peanuts. His
allergies are more environmental (esp. horses and cats-----those could kill
him he's so allergic) but dust mites, mold, ragweed etc were on the high end
of allergens.
All that to say "Yes, I've heard of that". lol
