Nick sometimes has very pronounced "bags" under his eyes and the insides of
his ears (not the canals) are usually very red. One of our therapists today
mentioned that these can be signs of a food allergy... anybody every heard
of these "symptoms"? He has not run fevers, been stuffed up, had digestive
trouble or had a rash (other than the dry skin). He is mostly on "typical"
toddler food... cereal, milk, juice, veggies, fruit, chicken, occasional
fish or meat. No chocolate, no eggs. Just started peanut butter, but the
swollen areas under his eyes and the red ears pre-date it's introduction. I
never would have guessed that he might have a food allergy!
Any ideas?
