I can't say they haven't tested her iron.
DH took her in the dr's on Thursday and they did some bloodwork on her.
Her Isomil has iron in it, so at least I know she's getting some (when
she's eating - that is a good point). Her tiredness could also be
from very few calories going in and body trying to get better.
She had nearly 4oz this morning, most of it drinking by herself, so
that eased my mind some before leaving her with her daddy and heading
into work. Usually, that's the first sign of and upswing. Also
started her on antib's last night.
When is a good time to know when to start the antib's? The dr gave us
a script and said when we felt we needed to, to use it... the nurse
mentioned in the past to wait until she gets a high(er) fever... but
that seemed a bit too late last time and we spent time in the hospital
with pneum... and thoughts?
Thanks,
Debbie, mom to Baby Claire (T18)
