Therese,
How do you know she has black stuff in her stool... Claire's stool and
vomit were the same color... and with her olive oil her stools are
relatively smooth, so I probably wouldn't notice any stringiness. ?
She is on soy formula (not too sure when we should take her off that -
she's 2 1/2 years -- maybe Faren's mom can clue me in from what they
did - thinking of adding a little bit of cows milk to her formula --
or maybe soy milk from the store? - Karen??), and all my kids were on
soy due to projectile vomiting after birth (from Similac- they were on
both formula and breastmilk when they came home from the hospital).
Claire has thrown up on Similac and Neosure, so we've stayed with soy.
She is still not eating well... she gets so mad when I feed her...
and very sleepy, she would sleep all day if I let her, but ever hour
(during the day) or two I wake her for a few more oz of food.=20
Hopefully she will get better soon...
