Faye,
Not to be argumentative, but there are many Christian-based organizations
that provide support to non-Christians. Lutheran Social Services is one.
They provide support for birth and adoptive parents of all faiths. They
organize the adoption process, provide counseling, transportation, social
workers and many other services needed by birth and adoptive families. They
will provide spiritual counseling and instruction, but only if desired.
It's actually a common practice in many homeless shelters and aid
organizations. They provide services, and they make the gospel
available--not push it upon people. As a Christian, I believe that there is
nothing I can do to MAKE someone listen to my the gospel, only God can spark
someone to listen and believe. I am just there to make it available. Most
of these organizations feel the same way.
