Philina also suffered from the thick fluid in her ear drums.
This messed up her equalibrium, and made her have perpetual motion sickness as 
an infant.  At 5 months she got her first set of tubes, and suddenly no more 
vomiting after every feeding.

The other thing you might want to check into is the size of Keren's adnoids.  
Philina's were huge and totally wrapped around her estausian tubes, clamping 
them closed.  When we had them removed at age 4 the whole shape of her face 
changed.
