[tri-med] Re: Do tri 13/18 kids experience joy?

My Caroline has partial T17p, but she is very similar to many T13 and T18
children - nonverbal, nonmobile, tube fed.  However, the one thing that just
amazes me about her is how incredibly HAPPY she is!  I often comment that
Caroline has a better life than most, mainly because she spends most of it
smiling and happy without a single worry in the world.  She is lucky!  There
are MANY "normal" people who spend their short lives (and ALL our lives are
relatively short) in misery and despair.
And I love hearing everyone else's response to this question!
