[tri-med] Devon Update

Good Morning again..
Some of you have asked for a Devon update.so here it is.

Monday afternoon, I got a call again from the school nurse saying Devon had
vomited AGAIN! OYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I called Dr. F (his GI) again since
they wanted to be kept apprised after us starting the Miralax once daily and
continuing with the Reglan 4 times daily. Apparently this wasn't all of what
he needed :o( LeeAnn (Dr F's nurse) called me back and I told her about
another symptom we'd been noticing but for some stupid reason didn't really
think anything about it. For the past couple of months Devon has been doing
this reflexive swallowing thing. DUHHHHH that's a huge sign of reflux! I
know you all knew that.the DUHH was for me for not putting it all together.
Anyhooooo.he is now on 30mg sub lingual Prevacid twice daily (he was on that
while in the hospital and for a month after but not since then). We started
him on it Tuesday night.so now we wait and see if the vomiting stops.we
HOPE!!!

AND he slept til' 4:24 AM this morning!! Yeahhhh.probably short lived.but
hey we'll take it :o)

AND.last but certainly not least.Nick will be 18 on Sunday!! I can't believe
it!!!! We're having pizza, brownies and homemade fudge as per the birthday
boy/man :o) :o)
